Bike Transport from Noida To Pune Overview: Distance, Time, And Why It Varies
Hinjewadi, Kharadi and Magarpatta pull in a lot of engineers from Delhi NCR, and the Army and defence postings in Pune add more. The route behaves much like Noida to Mumbai, with the extra 150 km at the end.
The road distance is about 1,500 km and the usual transit is 5–7 days from the day the carrier leaves Noida. Add a day at either end for pickup and for the delivery appointment, and you have the real timeline. The route normally follows NH48 through Rajasthan and Gujarat, then Maharashtra, finishing on the Mumbai–Pune route.
| Road distance | About 1,500 km |
|---|---|
| Standard transit | 5–7 days |
| Express transit | 4–6 days |
| Starting price (commuter bike) | ₹5,650 onwards |
| Pickup | Noida and the rest of NCR (Delhi, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Faridabad) |
| Delivery | Door delivery in Pune and nearby areas |

Why the timing changes
The Mumbai–Pune section and the ghat roads near Lonavala slow trucks in rain, and Pune restricts heavy vehicles inside the city for most of the day.
Besides that, four things move the date more than anything else:
- How often carriers leave for Pune. A bike booked on a day when a vehicle is already loading leaves sooner than one that waits for a full load.
- Season. June to September is the slow season for ghat and coastal sections. Winter is generally smooth, apart from morning fog out of Noida.
- Where you are in the NCR. Pickup from inside Noida's sectors is quickest. If you are in Delhi, Gurgaon or Faridabad, mention your sector when you ask for the quote.
- Who receives it. A delivery that needs an RWA letter or gate pass takes longer than one where the driver can park outside and hand over.
Pickup from Noida: what to expect
Noida pickups run through sectors and societies. Most apartment towers have an AOA, a guard room and a vehicle list, and Greater Noida West societies often add a gate pass. Typical starting points for Pune bookings are Sector 128, Sector 93, Sector 18, Sector 137 and Sector 75.
Noida is on the eastern edge of the NCR, so a vehicle for Pune first has to reach NH48, usually by the Eastern and Western peripheral expressways or through Delhi's ring roads. Expect about 40 km more than from Delhi. Peak-hour jams at the DND Flyway, Chilla border and Sector 62 can delay a late-morning loading, so an early slot is better.

Looking to Shift Your Bike from Noida to Pune! - 3 Ways To Transport Your Bike From Noida To Pune
There are really only three options. Here is how each one works out on this route.
1. Door-to-door by covered carrier
The crew comes to you, wraps the bike, ties it down inside a covered body, and delivers to your Pune address. A commuter bike runs about ₹5,650 to ₹7,700, with 5–7 days on the road. You only need to be present at pickup and at delivery. Read more on our door-to-door bike transport page.
2. Railway parcel
Possible, but slow. The bike goes by parcel train from a Noida station, and you collect it at Pune. Packing is on you, the tank must be nearly empty, and transit depends on which trains run that week, so it can take longer than a carrier. If the parcel office at Pune cannot take two-wheelers, you are stuck, so ask first. See our train vs truck comparison.
3. Ride it yourself
1,500 km is 4 days of riding at a comfortable pace, and 3 nights on the road. Fuel is around ₹3,150 for a commuter bike (about ₹4,750 for a 350cc Royal Enfield). Toll is free for bikes, but hotels, food and a return ticket are not. It works if you want the trip. It does not work if you are in a hurry or the bike is new and still running in.

For most people moving house or job, the covered carrier is the one that makes sense. We handle everything from motorcycles and scooters to Royal Enfield and sports bikes.
Noida To Pune Bike Transport Costs in 2026: What You’re Really Paying For
Prices below are what most customers pay on this route. They are ranges because the same cc can mean different weight and handling, and because carriers price by the week's load.
| Bike type | Price range (incl. GST) | Delivery |
|---|---|---|
| Scooter / moped (up to 125cc) | ₹5,200 – ₹6,850 | 5–7 days |
| Commuter bike (100–160cc) | ₹5,650 – ₹7,700 | 5–7 days |
| Royal Enfield / cruiser (350–650cc) | ₹6,750 – ₹9,450 | 5–7 days |
| Sports bike (300cc+) | ₹10,700 – ₹15,000 | 5–7 days |
| Superbike (650cc+) | Quoted after we know the exact model | |
Where the money goes (commuter bike, mid-range quote of ₹6,700)
| Item | Approx. amount |
|---|---|
| Line-haul freight (Noida to Pune) | ₹4,250 |
| Loading, strapping and standard wrap | ₹700 |
| Door pickup and door delivery | ₹750 |
| GST at 18% | ₹1,000 |
| Total | ₹6,700 |
Factors That Affect Bike Shipping Cost
- Transit insurance: 2.5% of the declared value, with a minimum of ₹300. On a bike valued at ₹1,00,000 that is about ₹2,500, plus GST.
- Express delivery: adds about 25% to the transport portion and brings the time down to 4–6 days.
- Difficult access: if the truck cannot reach your gate, a smaller vehicle for the last stretch may cost extra. Tell us the address up front.
- Depot instead of door: if you can bring the bike to a hub or collect it from one, the ₹750 door charge and its GST drop off.
- Waiting time: a driver held up for hours at either end may bill for the wait. Ask what the rule is before you book.
What moves the final number on this route
- Distance. Each extra 100 km on this lane adds roughly ₹100 to a commuter bike's price. Noida to Pune is about 1,500 km.
- Condition of the bike. A bike that will not start needs more people to load. Say so when you ask for the quote.
- Season and demand. Prices move up around Diwali, Holi and the academic year start, when more people are shifting.
- Flexibility on dates. A pickup window of three to five days is cheaper than a fixed same-day demand.
- Packing grade and insurance value. Premium wrapping adds about ₹900, and insurance is 2.5% of the declared value, so a higher declared value costs more.
- Bike size and weight. At 1,500 km a scooter starts near ₹5,200, a commuter near ₹5,650, a Royal Enfield near ₹6,750 and a sports bike near ₹10,700. Heavier bikes take more space and strapping.
- Access at both ends. A basement bay, a lift-only lobby or a lane that a truck cannot enter means extra hands or a smaller vehicle, and extra cost.
The price rises with distance, but not in a straight line. The first few hundred kilometres cost more per km than the rest, because loading, packing and paperwork are fixed. The Safety Checklist Before You Pay Any Advance for Bike Transport from Noida
A few minutes of checking can save you a lot. Here is what to confirm before paying anyone an advance.
- Get the quote in writing. It should name the pickup address, the Pune delivery address, packing, insurance, GST and the days promised.
- Ask if the bike stays on one vehicle. Over 1,500 km, a transfer at a hub is where most damage and delay happen.
- Do not pay in full upfront. A small booking amount is fine. If someone asks for everything before pickup, that is a warning sign.
- Pay a company account. Get a receipt or invoice. Payments to personal numbers with no bill are hard to dispute later.
- Do a pickup inspection. Photos or a video of the bike from all sides, with the odometer reading, and a signed condition sheet.
- Look at the insurance papers. Find out what is covered (theft, accident, loading damage), what you pay first, and whom to call if something goes wrong.
- Ask for a contact number for the trip. Someone should pick up the phone while your bike is on the road.
- Plan the Pune delivery. Hinjewadi has long evening jams, so a delivery slot before noon works better.
List of Documents You Usually Need for Bike Transport from Noida to Pune (And When NOC Matters)
For the Noida to Pune lane, keep the papers short: ownership, ID, insurance and a clear address at each end. A longer explanation is in our documents guide.
Keep these ready
- Authority letter: needed when a friend, relative or building staff hands over or receives the bike. Attach their ID.
- Bank letter: if the RC shows a bank under hypothecation, keep the lender's consent letter or NOC with you.
- Contact numbers: one person in Noida who can speak to the guard and one in Pune for the driver.
- RC (registration certificate): a copy goes with the bike and you keep the original. Noida bikes carry UP-16 plates, but many on the road are still on DL plates.
- Owner's ID: Aadhaar, driving licence or passport, with the same name as on the RC.
- Address proof: for the Noida pickup and for the delivery in Pune. A rent agreement, utility bill or society letter all work.
When NOC matters
An NOC is not needed just to put a bike on a carrier. It matters when the bike will stay in Maharashtra for a long time. Under Section 47 of the Motor Vehicles Act, a vehicle kept in another state for more than 12 months has to be registered afresh there. For that you need a No Objection Certificate (Form 28) from the registering authority of the bike, normally the Gautam Buddh Nagar RTO in Noida for a UP-16 plate, and then you register with the RTO in Pune.
For a temporary stay, such as a course or a short posting, you can usually keep the existing registration and skip the NOC. When in doubt, apply before the bike leaves Noida, and clear any pending challans first because they can hold the application. A BH series plate, if you qualify, avoids re-registration altogether.
Complete Step-By-Step Booking Process of Bike Transport from Noida to Pune: Including Pickup To Delivery
Here is the sequence on a typical booking. Our how it works page has more detail.
- Send your details. The form above takes a minute. We need the bike model, whether it starts, and the two addresses: one in Sector 121 or elsewhere in Delhi NCR, one in Pune.
- Compare and confirm. You get a written quote with the days. Pay a small booking amount only after reading it.
- Clear the bike. Remove the helmet lock gadgets, mirrors-mounted cameras and luggage. Keep one key and the RC with you.
- Pickup day. Someone should be at the house to sign. The bike is photographed from all sides, wrapped, strapped and loaded.
- While it travels. Keep your phone on. A delay from weather or a breakdown is reported to you, not hidden until the due date.
- Be reachable. The driver rings ahead. Have the gate pass or society permission ready so the vehicle is not turned away.
- Receive the bike. Walk around it with the pickup photos in hand. Sign only after you are satisfied, and keep your copy of the sheet.
In Pune we usually deliver to Hinjewadi, Baner, Kharadi, Viman Nagar, Hadapsar and Kothrud. Hinjewadi has long evening jams, so a delivery slot before noon works better.

Common Mistakes People Make On This Bike Transport Route from Noida (And How You Avoid Them)
- Forgetting Greater Noida West gate rules. New societies in Noida Extension have strict gate procedures. Ask the AOA what the vehicle needs before the crew arrives.
- Ignoring the weather. June to September is the slow season for ghat and coastal sections. Winter is generally smooth, apart from morning fog out of Noida. Ask for a flexible window.
- Skipping the photos. Without pickup photos, a damage claim becomes your word against theirs.
- Booking too late. Last-minute bookings get whatever vehicle is free, often at a higher rate. Book three to five days ahead on this route.
- A mistake specific to Pune. Assuming Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad are the same drop. They are separate RTO areas and separate delivery routes, so say clearly which side of the city you live on.
- Not planning the drop. Typical delivery areas include Hinjewadi, Baner, Kharadi, Viman Nagar, Hadapsar and Kothrud. Hinjewadi has long evening jams, so a delivery slot before noon works better.
