Gurgaon To Khammam Bike Transport Basics: Distance, Time, And Why It Varies
Cotton, chilli and the Singareni coal belt shape Khammam, and a number of Gurgaon families move there for business, power plants and the regional colleges.
This is a long one: about 1,705 km and 6–8 days on the road. Anyone who quotes you less than a week for a haul this size should be asked, politely, how they plan to do it. The route normally follows NH44 to Hyderabad or Warangal, then the Khammam highway.
| Road distance | About 1,705 km |
|---|---|
| Standard transit | 6–8 days |
| Express transit | 4–6 days |
| Starting price (commuter bike) | ₹5,900 onwards |
| Pickup | Gurgaon and the rest of NCR (Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad) |
| Delivery | Door delivery in Khammam and nearby areas |

Why the timing changes
Khammam is off the main north-south line. The last 120 km from Hyderabad or Warangal is on a busy highway.
Besides that, four things move the date more than anything else:
- How often carriers leave for Khammam. A bike booked on a day when a vehicle is already loading leaves sooner than one that waits for a full load.
- Season. Rain on the west side from June to September and the north-east monsoon on the east coast from October to December slow trucks. Winter fog affects only the first day out of Gurgaon.
- Where you are in the NCR. Pickup from inside Gurgaon's sectors is quickest. If you are in Gurgaon, Noida or Faridabad, mention your sector when you ask for the quote.
- Who receives it. A delivery that needs an RWA letter or gate pass takes longer than one where the driver can park outside and hand over.
Pickup from Gurgaon: what to expect
Gurgaon has its own pickup routine. Gated societies, basement parking and RWA rules decide how smoothly a bike is collected, so we ask for the tower, the gate and a contact for the guard. Typical pickup points for Khammam bookings are Sushant Lok, Palam Vihar, Udyog Vihar, Sector 14 and South City.
Vehicles for Khammam usually leave Gurgaon through Faridabad and Palwal and join the Agra corridor, a little shorter than starting from Delhi. Evening jams at Signature Tower and Sohna Road mean the best loading slots are before 10 am.

How to shift my Bike from Gurgaon! - 3 Ways To Transport Your Bike From Gurgaon To Khammam
There are really only three options. Here is how each one works out on this route.
1. Door-to-door by covered carrier
This is the usual choice. The bike is packed at your door, travels in a closed vehicle and is brought to your Khammam address. Budget ₹5,900 to ₹8,100 for a commuter bike and 6–8 days of transit, and keep your phone on during the trip. Read more on our door-to-door bike transport page.
2. Railway parcel
On this distance, parcel trains involve more than one connection, and a bike left at a transfer station gets damaged more often than one on a single carrier. If you do try it, book a direct service where possible, and ask the parcel office at Khammam whether they take two-wheelers. More on that in our train vs truck guide.
3. Ride it yourself
1,705 km means 5 days of riding and 4 hotel nights. Fuel alone is about ₹3,600 for a commuter and about ₹5,400 for a 350cc bike. It is a real trip, not a relocation tool, and a long ride ages tyres, chain and brakes. Few people do it for a house move.

At this distance, a covered carrier is the only practical way to move the bike, unless you want an adventure. We handle everything from motorcycles and scooters to Royal Enfield and sports bikes.
Gurgaon To Khammam Bike Transport Costs in 2026: What You’re Really Paying For
No one should pay for a Gurgaon to Khammam bike move without seeing the full breakup, so here it is.
| Bike type | Price range (incl. GST) | Delivery |
|---|---|---|
| Scooter / moped (up to 125cc) | ₹5,450 – ₹7,150 | 6–8 days |
| Commuter bike (100–160cc) | ₹5,900 – ₹8,100 | 6–8 days |
| Royal Enfield / cruiser (350–650cc) | ₹7,100 – ₹9,900 | 6–8 days |
| Sports bike (300cc+) | ₹11,200 – ₹15,700 | 6–8 days |
| Superbike (650cc+) | Quoted after we know the exact model | |
Where the money goes (commuter bike, mid-range quote of ₹7,000)
| Item | Approx. amount |
|---|---|
| Line-haul freight (Gurgaon to Khammam) | ₹4,450 |
| Loading, strapping and standard wrap | ₹750 |
| Door pickup and door delivery | ₹750 |
| GST at 18% | ₹1,050 |
| Total | ₹7,000 |
What can push the price up or down
- Transit insurance: optional cover at 2.5% of what you declare, never below ₹300. Declare ₹80,000 and it comes to about ₹2,000 plus GST.
- Express delivery: costs roughly a quarter more on the transport charge and cuts the trip to 4–6 days.
- Difficult access: if the truck cannot reach your gate, a smaller vehicle for the last stretch may cost extra. Tell us the address up front.
- Depot instead of door: if you collect from or drop at a transport hub, you save about ₹750 plus GST.
- Waiting time: a driver held up for hours at either end may bill for the wait. Ask what the rule is before you book.
The price rises with distance, but not in a straight line. The first few hundred kilometres cost more per km than the rest, because loading, packing and paperwork are fixed. The Safety Checklist Before You Pay Any Advance for Bike Shipping from Gurgaon
Before any money moves for a Gurgaon to Khammam booking, go through these points. They apply to every company, including us.
- Get the quote in writing. It should name the pickup address, the Khammam delivery address, packing, insurance, GST and the days promised.
- Ask if the bike stays on one vehicle. Over 1,705 km, a transfer at a hub is where most damage and delay happen.
- Ask for a contact number for the trip. Someone should pick up the phone while your bike is on the road.
- Prepare the bike. Keep fuel to about a litre, tape or disconnect the battery lead, remove loose accessories and keep one key with you. Our how to prepare your bike guide covers the rest.
- Look at the insurance papers. Find out what is covered (theft, accident, loading damage), what you pay first, and whom to call if something goes wrong.
- Do not pay in full upfront. A small booking amount is fine. If someone asks for everything before pickup, that is a warning sign.
- Do a pickup inspection. Photos or a video of the bike from all sides, with the odometer reading, and a signed condition sheet.
- Plan the Khammam delivery. Several areas are served by narrow lanes, and the delivery may need a smaller vehicle for the last stretch.
List of Documents You Usually Need for Bike Transport from Gurgaon to Khammam (And When NOC Matters)
You do not need a stack of paperwork to send a bike from Gurgaon. You need enough to show the bike is yours and legal to move. Our documents required for bike transport article has the long version; this is what matters on the Gurgaon to Khammam lane.
Keep these ready
- Authority letter: if a friend, relative or the society staff hands over or receives the bike, with their ID attached.
- Loan papers: if the RC shows a bank under hypothecation, keep the lender's consent letter or NOC with you.
- Phone numbers and landmarks: one contact in Gurgaon for the guard and one in Khammam for the driver.
- RC (registration certificate): a copy goes with the bike; you keep the original. Gurgaon bikes carry an HR-26 plate, though many local bikes are still on DL plates.
- Owner's ID proof: Aadhaar, driving licence or passport, with the name matching the RC.
- Address proof: for the pickup in Gurgaon and for the delivery in Khammam. A rent agreement or utility bill works.
When NOC matters
An NOC is not needed just to put a bike on a carrier. It matters when the bike will live in Telangana for a long time. Under Section 47 of the Motor Vehicles Act, a vehicle kept in another state for over 12 months has to be registered afresh there. For that you need a No Objection Certificate (Form 28) from the registering authority of the bike, normally the Gurugram RTO for an HR-26 plate or the Delhi RTO for a DL plate, and then you register with the RTO in Khammam.
If the move is temporary, for a course or a short posting, you can usually keep the existing registration and skip the NOC. When in doubt, apply for the NOC before the bike leaves Gurgaon. Clear any pending challans first, since they can hold the application up. Owners who qualify for a BH series plate do not need re-registration at all.
Complete Step-By-Step Booking Process of Bike Transport from Gurgaon to Khammam: Pickup To Delivery
This is how a normal booking runs. Our how it works page has more detail.
- Start with the form. Give your name, number and bike. If the bike is a Splendor or Activa and the drop is near Wyra Road, mention it so the quote fits.
- Read the quote. For 1,705 km it should show the total with GST, about 6–8 days on the road, and what is included. A commuter bike on this route starts near ₹5,900.
- Prepare the bike. Drain the tank to about a litre, remove accessories and clean it so scratches show up in the photos.
- Pickup day. Someone should be at the house to sign. The bike is photographed from all sides, wrapped, strapped and loaded.
- While it travels. Keep your phone on. A delay from weather or a breakdown is reported to you, not hidden until the due date.
- Fix the delivery time. If you are in Wyra Road or Mamata Road, tell the driver the society name and gate number, and who will be there.
- Receive the bike. Walk around it with the pickup photos in hand. Sign only after you are satisfied, and keep your copy of the sheet.
In Khammam we usually deliver to Wyra Road, Mamata Road, Gandhi Chowk, Nayabazar, Ramnagar and Kothagudem Road. Several areas are served by narrow lanes, and the delivery may need a smaller vehicle for the last stretch.

Mistakes People Make On This Bike Transport Route from Gurgaon (And How You Avoid Them)
- Booking a pickup at peak hours. Between 9 and 11 am and from 5 to 8 pm the roads around Golf Course Road and Hero Honda Chowk are jammed. Ask for an early slot.
- Ignoring the weather. Rain on the west side from June to September and the north-east monsoon on the east coast from October to December slow trucks. Winter fog affects only the first day out of Gurgaon. Ask for a flexible window.
- Booking too late. Last-minute bookings get whatever vehicle is free, often at a higher rate. Book three to five days ahead on this route.
- Leaving accessories on. Mirrors, GPS holders, saddlebags and phone mounts go missing or break. Take them off.
- A mistake specific to Khammam. Not telling the carrier which road you prefer. Khammam can be reached via Hyderabad or Warangal, and the choice affects the days.
- Not planning the drop. Typical delivery areas include Wyra Road, Mamata Road, Gandhi Chowk, Nayabazar, Ramnagar and Kothagudem Road. Several areas are served by narrow lanes, and the delivery may need a smaller vehicle for the last stretch.
