Delhi To Bikaner Bike Transport Basics: Distance, Time, And Why It Varies
Bikaner is known for sweets, wool and the army's presence. Bikes from Delhi go there for military postings and for family businesses.
Expect about 450 km on the road and 3–4 days from pickup to delivery. It is a short enough haul that the day you book matters more than the quote you pick. The route normally follows highways through Rewari, Narnaul, Sikar and Churu.
| Road distance | About 450 km |
|---|---|
| Standard transit | 3–4 days |
| Express transit | 1–2 days |
| Starting price (commuter bike) | ₹3,000 onwards |
| Pickup | Delhi and NCR (Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad) |
| Delivery | Door delivery in Bikaner and nearby areas |

Why the timing changes
This is a straight desert road, but summer heat and dust storms can slow trucks in May and June.
Besides that, four things move the date more than anything else:
- How often carriers leave for Bikaner. A bike booked on a day when a vehicle is already loading leaves sooner than one that waits for a full load.
- Season. Dense fog between late December and January is the usual slowdown on this side of the country. Summers are hot but rarely change the schedule.
- Where you are in the NCR. Pickup from Delhi proper is quickest. If you are in Gurgaon, Noida or Faridabad, mention your sector when you ask for the quote.
- Who receives it. A delivery that needs an RWA letter or gate pass takes longer than one where the driver can park outside and hand over.
How to Ship my Bike! - 3 Ways To Transport Your Bike From Delhi To Bikaner
People usually ask which method is best, and the honest answer depends on distance, the bike, and how much you want to handle yourself.
1. Door-to-door by covered carrier
The crew comes to you, wraps the bike, ties it down inside a covered body, and delivers to your Bikaner address. A commuter bike runs about ₹3,000 to ₹4,100, with 3–4 days on the road. You only need to be present at pickup and at delivery. Read more on our door-to-door bike transport page.
2. Railway parcel
Indian Railways does carry two-wheelers as parcel. You book at the parcel office, the bike is packed (the tank must be nearly empty), and it travels station to station. You then collect it from Bikaner yourself, and get it home. At 450 km the saving over a carrier is small and the handling is rougher. Our train vs truck comparison goes through it in detail.
3. Ride it yourself
About 450 km takes 2 days on a bike. Fuel at roughly 45 km a litre and ₹95 a litre comes to about ₹950. Two-wheelers are exempt from toll, which helps. You also have to get yourself back home or onward after riding one way, which people forget while comparing prices.

If you have time and a healthy bike, riding is cheapest. If you are travelling with luggage, family or on a train, the carrier is the easier option. We handle everything from motorcycles and scooters to Royal Enfield and sports bikes.
Delhi To Bikaner Bike Transport Costs: What You’re Really Paying For
Prices below are what most customers pay on this route. They are ranges because the same cc can mean different weight and handling, and because carriers price by the week's load.
| Bike type | Price range (incl. GST) | Delivery |
|---|---|---|
| Scooter / moped (up to 125cc) | ₹2,750 – ₹3,650 | 3–4 days |
| Commuter bike (100–160cc) | ₹3,000 – ₹4,100 | 3–4 days |
| Royal Enfield / cruiser (350–650cc) | ₹3,600 – ₹5,050 | 3–4 days |
| Sports bike (300cc+) | ₹5,700 – ₹7,950 | 3–4 days |
| Superbike (650cc+) | Quoted after we know the exact model | |

| Item | Approx. amount |
|---|---|
| Line-haul freight (Delhi to Bikaner) | ₹1,950 |
| Loading, strapping and standard wrap | ₹300 |
| Door pickup and door delivery | ₹750 |
| GST at 18% | ₹550 |
| Total | ₹3,550 |
Extras and adjustments
- Transit insurance: 2.5% of the declared value, with a minimum of ₹300. On a bike valued at ₹70,000 that is about ₹1,750, plus GST.
- Express delivery: costs roughly a quarter more on the transport charge and cuts the trip to 1–2 days.
- Premium wrap: costs about ₹900 more for thicker padding and a frame around the bike. Sensible for a new or expensive machine.
- Depot instead of door: if you can bring the bike to a hub or collect it from one, the ₹750 door charge and its GST drop off.
- Difficult access: if the truck cannot reach your gate, a smaller vehicle for the last stretch may cost extra. Tell us the address up front.
The price rises with distance, but not in a straight line. The first few hundred kilometres cost more per km than the rest, because loading, packing and paperwork are fixed. The Safety Checklist Before You Pay Any Advance for Bike Shipping from Delhi
A few minutes of checking can save you a lot. Here is what to confirm before paying anyone an advance.
- Get the quote in writing. It should name the pickup address, the Bikaner delivery address, packing, insurance, GST and the days promised.
- Ask if the bike stays on one vehicle. Over 450 km, a transfer at a hub is where most damage and delay happen.
- Pay into a business account and take an invoice. A transfer to someone's personal number with no bill leaves you with nothing to show later.
- Inspect at pickup. Shoot photos or a short video of every side of the bike, note the odometer, and get a condition sheet signed by the crew.
- Prepare the bike. Keep fuel to about a litre, tape or disconnect the battery lead, remove loose accessories and keep one key with you. Our how to prepare your bike guide covers the rest.
- Keep the advance small. A booking amount is normal. Anyone who wants the full payment before the bike has even been picked up deserves suspicion.
- Read the insurance. Ask for the policy copy, what is covered (theft, accident, damage in loading), the excess, and who to call after a problem.
- Plan the Bikaner delivery. The walled city has lanes too narrow for any vehicle. Meet at the outer gate.
Documents You Usually Need for Bike Transport from Delhi to Bikaner (And When NOC Matters)
To hand over the bike you need very little. The real paperwork starts after delivery, if you plan to register the bike in Rajasthan.
- RC book or smart card: hand over a photocopy and keep the original yourself.
- ID proof: Aadhaar, driving licence or passport of the owner.
- Authorisation letter: if someone other than the owner hands over or receives the bike, with their ID.
- Insurance copy: the current policy, not an expired one. Third-party cover is the minimum.
- Contact details: a phone number and landmark for both Delhi and Bikaner.
- Finance NOC: if the bike is on a loan (hypothecation), a letter from the bank or NBFC allowing the move.
When NOC matters
You do not need an NOC to put a bike on a carrier. You need it when the bike has to be registered in Rajasthan. A registration from another state is valid for twelve months under the Motor Vehicles Act, and then a new number must be taken. The NOC comes from the Delhi transport office, and if a loan is running, the bank has to release its hold first.
Bikaner has an RTO, and the Delhi NOC and an address proof are needed.
Keep two things in mind. A BH (Bharat) series plate does not need re-registration after a state change, if you are eligible for one. And rules for older vehicles in Delhi–NCR have shifted over the years, so confirm the current position for your bike's age before you book. Step-By-Step Booking Process of Bike Transport from Delhi to Bikaner: Pickup To Delivery
Most bookings follow these seven steps. Our how it works page has more detail.
- Ask for a quote. Fill the form at the top of this page or call +91 96713 11891. Share the bike model, pickup area and the Bikaner address.
- Read the quote. For 450 km it should show the total with GST, about 3–4 days on the road, and what is included. A commuter bike on this route starts near ₹3,000.
- Get the bike ready. Leave about a litre of petrol, take off bags and phone mounts, and wash it so existing marks are clear. Dense fog between late December and January is the usual slowdown on this side of the country. Summers are hot but rarely change the schedule.
- Pickup in Delhi NCR. The crew inspects the bike with you, photographs it, wraps and straps it, and gives you a signed condition sheet.
- While it travels. Keep your phone on. A delay from weather or a breakdown is reported to you, not hidden until the due date.
- Fix the delivery time. If you are in Sadul Colony or Jaipur Road, tell the driver the society name and gate number, and who will be there.
- Inspect and close. Match the bike to the pickup photos, start it, and note any damage on the paper before you sign and pay.
In Bikaner we usually deliver to Sadul Colony, Jaipur Road, Pawanpuri, Ambedkar Circle, Gangashahar and Vallabh Garden. The walled city has lanes too narrow for any vehicle. Meet at the outer gate.

Mistakes People Make On This Bike Shipping Route (And How You Avoid Them)
- Choosing only on price. A quote far below the others usually means a shared, transfer-heavy journey or missing insurance.
- Leaving accessories on. Mirrors, GPS holders, saddlebags and phone mounts go missing or break. Take them off.
- Skipping the photos. Without pickup photos, a damage claim becomes your word against theirs.
- A mistake specific to Bikaner. Not allowing for the heat. In summer, midday delivery in Bikaner is tough for the crew, so choose morning.
- Not planning the drop. Typical delivery areas include Sadul Colony, Jaipur Road, Pawanpuri, Ambedkar Circle, Gangashahar and Vallabh Garden. The walled city has lanes too narrow for any vehicle. Meet at the outer gate.
